The mission of Milestone Mentoring Program, Inc. is to provide America’s youth direction in life for their preservation and for a future tomorrow, into adulthood having confidence, determination and self awareness.

OUR STORY
Anchored by the fundamental belief that it does indeed takes a village to raise a child, in 2007 the Milestone Mentoring Program comprised itself of like-minded individuals having an array of experience and who hail from many different regions around the Washington Metropolitan area. What we shared in common however, were the same thoughts on what it means to make a difference in the lives of young people; to be a mentor - "There has to be a better way!" Rather than continuing to rely upon traditional, and sometimes inefficient methodologies and antiquated customs to program development, funding and implementation, we thought - "Why not use our business connections within the community, knowledge of customer relationship, technology and our entrepreneurial know-how to assimilate, connect and mentor growing ventures?" And that is what all of the MMP initiatives aspires to do.

• We believe that young people listening to the advisement of mentors, successful business men and women, and other positive adults will carve a successful path in the development of that child.
• We believe that successful mentorship is to balance personal development, strategic planning, and tactical implementation.
